I was disgusted that TECO would use their donor status to attempt to manipulate a Christian ministry into adopting non-Christian policies. I had hoped Metropolitan Ministries would have turned down the money and sought another donor.

The decision was based on TECO's belief that it is wrong to discriminate. This is a fallacy. Metropolitan Ministries does not discriminate. They feed anyone who needs help regardless of their faith.

Perhaps if this Jewish lady had wanted to serve on such a board, she could have looked in Jewish Family Services. Has TECO leaned on them to hire Muslims?
