How can I grow in The Fruit of the Spirit?

Christ calls us to emulate and put His Fruit into our relationships. These are essential to growing a healthy and lasting relationship. You can examine the descriptions, look up the Scriptures, and then ask yourself these six questions...
Are you a good leader? Do you want to be? We have to ask ourselves whether we are being an agent of change or being manipulative and controlling. We have to ask ourselves if we are empowering people or scheming to get them to do what we want.
KNOW IT!

Just as the Customs Officer asks you with a deep stern and convicting look when you enter a country, "do you have anything to declare," so must we declare Christ with even more passion and conviction! And we can only do it with knowing it, knowing Him and His Word. This is the step that helps us "internalize" what we are learning.
When we grow more in our prayer life, we will see more of God in our lives, more realization of Him and His power. Thus, everything we do will be affected in a positive way as a response of His work in us and our personal adjustments in becoming less of ourselves and more of Him...
Remember this important fact; the Prime Directive for Spiritual Gifts is for service to God's family! As you grow in the understanding and use of your Spiritual Gifts, you will realize that you are in a relationship of dependence upon Christ.
We have to realize Christianity has a cost to it. The cost may be big, but we can take comfort it is well worth the cost beyond our understanding!
