It certainly helps to wait a little while to help everyone make sure that 1) the church is the right one for the person or family, 2) to give everyone the opportunity to know each other, 3) to give the person or family the opportunity to prove that they are committed to a relationship with the people that they will be working with.

It's a wise move.

The bible says know those who labor among you.....why should some joe who doesbt really love the lord come in from know where and automatically join the church and be in kids ministry///////we have to use the common sence that God gave us...its called wisdom and discernment
