The most difficult book in the Bible, Revelation, becomes sooo clear
when your knowledge of the Word is rich and full.

It is an advantage so that we can be prepared for the end times, in which we are now living. It helps us hear the voice of the Lord guiding and directing, keeping us safe in the present, and for the coming turmoil. As the world gets darker, we get brighter.

Let us not forsake the study of the Word and prayer.

Blessings,

If anyone had asked, I would have claimed to have believed in the power of prayer for a long time, but it has only been within the past year or two that this awesome blessing has really hit home for me. If you’re not making time every day to talk to God and to tell him about your cares and concerns and to ask for His help, you are missing out on a very powerful blessing that will improve your life and strengthen your faith. I’ve been listening to motivational speakers on tape, and it amazes me that most of the techniques that they teach for getting and keeping one’s self motivated are straight from the Bible. One such speaker told a story about the beginnings of Guidepost magazine, when a wealthy supporter, rather than give more money to build the paper, sat the staff down and prayed to God, thanking Him for blessing them with increased subscriptions. Subsequently, everyone was energized after the “amen” and they went on to surpass their goals for subscribers. At first I thought this was a little odd, to thank the Lord for something He hadn’t done yet, but within days of hearing this motivational story, the Lord guided me to Mark 11:24, in which Jesus is quoted as saying, “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you.” I was floored! Since then, I have used my concordance to find other passages on prayer, and it has been very uplifting. “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.”—James 1:5-6 HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

There are times when what we read in one scripture, appears to conflict with another. In these cases, it is not the scripture but our understanding or perception that is lacking. God will never contradict himself in His Word. That is why bible study is so important to the growth of a Christian life. We learn how to uncover the truths God has placed in His Word by the light (of wisdom and knowledge) that He shines on our path.
